THE MEN'S CIRCLE HAS MOVED TO SUNDAYS!
Join us on the first Sunday of the month for lunch, socializing, support, and a chance to do service.
Every month, the Park Avenue Men’s Circle meets to empower men as sons, fathers, brothers, partners, husbands, and businessmen.
The Men’s Circle is a fraternal organization for men of all faiths, ethnicities and orientations. We’re a partnership between the Park Avenue Christian Church and Congregation Da'at Elohim/The Temple of Universal Judaism, two progressive, welcoming congregations, although you don’t have to belong to either congregation to join the Men's Circle.
We will wrestle with common challenges, forge new bonds, and have some fun.
Each meeting will begin with an expert speaker on a particular topic (see the schedule below) to be followed by small group discussions and exercises. A free will offering will be taken.

SUN. FEB 7
Personal Story: Haiti
with Stanley Cantave
Free Luncheon Program
12:30 pm
Stanley Cantave is the church's Youth Programs Coordinator and a Haitian-American. His family has suffered in the Haiti earthquake, and he will share his news, his experiences, and his faith with us. If you know Stanley, you know that this will be a powerful program.
There will also be a short business meeting where we will discuss the men's circle.
SUN. MAR. 7
"Friendship"
Free Luncheon Program
12:30 pm
Continuing the discussion started at the joint men and women's luncheon in January, the men alone will meet to share lunch and talk about what they look for -- and expect -- from friendships.
Is it "don't call me on my stuff and I won't call you on yours?" Is it "I've got your back?" Is it "I just want to be left alone?" We'll talk about the state of men's friendships in 2010 and how we want the Men's Circle to support us.
We'll also talk about what the Men's Circle is beyond the relationships of the men involved.
SUN. MAR 14
Pancake Brunch
Fundraiser for the Park and Congregation Da'at Elohim
We'll be cooking our second annual Pancake Brunch to show off our culinary skills.
